Video Screening & Public Discussion, Cantref Heritage Centre, Bala, North WalesThe film made of the submerged village, existing remains and general areaof Capel Celyn was shown at Cantref in the Welsh town of Bala. A public discussion followed the screening.

The film will acted as a reference not only to the notion of a disenfranchised and dispossessed community but to also convey notions of a submerged , local and national identity. The public meeting arranged by Stitt & Cywaith Cymru [Artworks Wales] was an emotional occasion that included testimony from survivors of the village of Capel Celyn.

The public meeting coincided with an announcement from Liverpool Council expressing a desire to make formal apologies for had happened at Celyn.
